Earmark Invitations was started in 2003 when founder/creative director Bridgette Salvon was designing invitations for her own wedding. Out of the kindnes of her heart, she offered her design expertise to another bride-to-be through an online message board, and she was surprised to find that the woman offered to pay her! A light bulb was lit in her brain, and Earmark Invitations was born.
Bridgette's designs are fresh, unique, bold and beautiful. She has that special ability to create everything you wanted, as well as everything you didn't know you wanted. She understands color, style, and theme like no one else in the industry. But she doesn't work alone!
In 2005, Bridgette was joined by her husband, Mike Berndt. Mike is responsible for Earmark Invitations' rock-solid Operations department. He also lend his slightly twisted sense of humor to several of our best-selling greeting cards.
In 2006, Earmark introduced our own line of greeting cards and stationery, EI Greetings. After a successful introduction at Kari Feinstein's 2007 Sundance Style Lounge, we continued the growth of EI Greetings through etsy.com, and introduced a number of new products, including handmade journals, personalized stationery, magnets, limited edition art prints and more.
